The Pompton Lakes Reformed Church also known as the "Big white church on the corner" to many, is a very active church reaching out to the Community.  We have a free Community Breakfast, a Food pantry for those in need, and participate in Family Promise.  Family Promise is a program where people in need can stay at the Church for a week at a time while looking for a job and housing.  We provide a place for them to stay as well as meals for the week.  Our members volunteer to make meals, entertain the kids at night, and stay over night to make sure everything is running smoothly.  We do this four times a year.  When there is an emergency in town we are there to help in any way we can.  Several years ago when we had flooding in town we served as the Distribution Center in town.  Community citizens would come to our Church donating clothing, housewares, and gift cards.  Those in need would come to the Church to take what they needed.  What a Blessing it was to see the joy and tears on the faces of the people who came in for items they lost in the flood.  The generosity of our community was overwhelming and you could see God's hand in this.  We have an Autumnfest in the Fall.  We participate in Pompton Day, the Stroll, and Toys for Tots.  Our members donate Christmas gifts for children in need.  We donate bags of food for Thanksgiving and Easter for our families who use our Food Pantry as well as invite them for a Dinneer near Christmas.  Santa also makes an appearance with gifts for the kids.  We go on Mission Trips and have Bible Studies.  Our vision statement is "A world where all experience and share the love and grace of Jesus Christ."  We would love to have you come and share this vision with us.  If you would care to join us on Sunday morning we have our Traditional Service and Sunday School for the kids beginning at 10:00 a.m.  After the Service we have Coffee Hour which always includes baked goods.  This way we can continue our Fellowship with one another.  We have many committees that you could join depending upon your interests.  If you are looking for a Church we hope that you will stop in and give us a try.  God Bless You All.
