The Arts Commission promotes and encourages public programs to further the development and public awareness of and interest in the arts, and to act in an advisory capacity to the city government in connection with the artistic and cultural development of Port Townsend.

The Port Townsend Arts Commission is dedicated to supporting the proliferation of all the arts in Port Townsend, WA. In a town with a unique number of artists and devotees of the arts, it is our mission as an appointed city commission to facilitate public arts programs that enhance the quality of life of all citizens.

We work with local arts groups to provide information and access to city resources as well as sponsoring arts events such as Art Port Townsend, Port Townsend Shorts and the Port Townsend Playwrights Festival.
