The Motto of Lions Clubs International and the Port Washington Lions Club is "We Serve". Our club is one of nearly 46,000 throughout the world and we are among 1.4 million volunteers who serve people with all kinds of needs in 194 countries. At our local meetings we enjoy fellowship, a meal and plan our service projects. As a Club we offer our members numerous annual social events which are funded by the beloved antics of the Tail Twister. These may include a Christmas and Valentines party, golf outing and family summer picnic. In addition, members benefit by having the opportunity of acquire a variety of skills and personally enrich their lives.

All fundraised monies are donated to the needy or used to better our community. The Port Washington Lions Club strives to carry out its motto "We Serve" and the service page has a small sampling of how we serve. We will continue to serve the less fortunate, strive to promote Lionism and support our community and its citizens. We thank all that have supported our club in the past, present and future.
