Our Chapter was chartered by NCL in 1999 and we currently have 215 members that provide hand-on volunteer service for 19 philanthropic organizations within the community. Through this community service, NCL develops socially responsible community leaders and strengthens the mother-daughter relationship. NCL mother-daughter teams are responsible, dedicated, skilled volunteers actively engaged in the local community. Last year our members provided nearly 8,000 hours of community service time. Some of the local organizations that we support are: The Poway Senior Center, Valley Elementary After School Homework Club, The Poway Performing Arts Center, and the San Diego and Escondido Humane Society.
