About Us:

Prairie Street Brewing Company came back to life when three Rockford natives decided to share their passion for fine beer and food with others. The Prairie Street Brewhouse, one of Rockford’s premier historic buildings, currently making a comeback as a mixed-use development will be home to the brewpub. The original Rockford Brewing Company developed the building to establish one of the first breweries in the nation, brewing over 75,000 barrels a year at its peak production. Our shiny, new 15-barrel brewery will be the backdrop to Rockford’s latest destination for handcrafted beer and food. We are proud to bring this wonderful piece of Rockford history back to life and look forward to exceeding expectations.

Prairie Street Brewing Company offer's world-class beer handcrafted locally in a range of styles, from lagers to IPA’s, stouts to saisons and every style in between, our 14 faucets and 2 beer engines will offer something for everyone. Our brewer craft's each beer following the highest standards for quality and freshness, so every glass poured is consistently delicious.

Nothing complements a great beer better than great food. At PSB we understand this, and that is why both beer and food menus are being created in tandem. Our menu is dynamic, reflecting the change of the seasons and the availability of the freshest ingredients. So be sure to check in often to taste our newest fermented and culinary creations.
