PSTA offers state of the art features not found at other facilities in the area, including the full array of protective service training capabilities. The PSTA is the premier training venue in the Mid-Atlantic region for the protective services community. The PSTA was built with the protective service and law enforcement professional in mind.​

The PSTA also provides a complete set of services to private protective services companies including facility rental, certification services, training, and staffing. Government and law enforcement agencies also regularly train their staffs at the PSTA.
