Red Path Gallery and Tasting Room

Red Path Gallery and Tasting Room
514 Seward Street,

Our Story…

The Red Path story begins in the 19th century. The home of Red Path Gallery was built in downtown Seward in 1886. Serving as a bank for over 60 years, the space was converted in 1951 into a law firm (the oldest in Nebraska) and remained for decades.

In 2013 the historic building was renovated and Red Path Gallery was founded by local artists Jeanne and Verle Wiemer. Featuring original architectural elements, including the bank’s original vault, Red Path provides patrons with a unique blend of the past and the present.

Looking for a way to invest in their community, Seward residents Alison Koch and her husband Chase, took over Red Path Gallery in 2018. Today, Alison and Chase continue a legacy that proudly showcases art and artists from Nebraska and provides a fun, comfortable space to unwind.

Featuring Nebraska-made wine, craft beer, and spirits, Red Path Gallery and Tasting Room is truly a unique combination of an art gallery, cocktail lounge, and community hub. A place to gather, relax and celebrate all of the creativity that Nebraska has to offer.
