About Us

When you enter our Narthex you will see many fellow church goers that are gathered greeting each other. You can take a minute to view the many photo displays that show the various activities in which we participate.  You will notice that most of us dress casually so that we can be comfortable. In the left rear corner of the sanctuary you will find a basket of soft “quiet” toys to borrow during service that will help keep little ones entertained when needed before leaving the service for Sunday School.

As you enter the sanctuary, you will find it warm and peaceful. It invites you to worship and helps you feel closer to God. You may be entertained by the Children’s Moment, when many time we are surprised because “Kids say the darnedest things”. The sermon is typically based on the Bible passage for the week and is always presented in a down to earth, relateable way that is easy to understand.

Feeling very upbeat  we leave the sanctuary and are greeted by coffee and fellowship. We get to chit chat with old friends, our Pastor, and our visitors of the day. If you are looking for a comfortable friendly atmosphere give us a visit.

Communion Sunday is observed on the first Sunday of the month. This is celebrated as a family event. In our tradition children are invited to fully participate in Holy Communion. Parents are asked to make the decision concerning their child’s participation. The Pastor is available for assistance and a Communion class will be scheduled for children in first and second grade.

Our Sanctuary is used for all our Worship Services with the exception of some special services that are held in the Halford Chapel. Halford Chapel is a small intimate worship Center used for Lenten and Advent services. It is also very popular for small Weddings.
