Our History

Ross Corners Community Church was founded in 1926 with the purpose of reaching the Ross Corners community for Christ.  The church met in the old schoolhouse, which is now the fire station just across the road from the current campus.  The six founding members paid the pastor a salary of $5.00 a week.  In 1934 the church moved to the corner of Arlington Avenue and Old Owego Road, and in 1950 it was incorporated as Ross Corners Baptist Church.  Beginning in 1953, a one hour broadcast of the morning service was heard on WNBF radio each week.  In 1960 land was purchased at the corner of Ross Hill and Old Owego Road for the purpose of building a Christian school that would provide education for children from preschool through twelth grade.  On March 21, 1976, ground breaking was held for the current church building, and the building was dedicated on January 2, 1977.
