Mission:

The mission is to study, preserve and promote traditional and contemporary styles of taiko drumming. Taiko is a Japanese style of percussion, which combines music, movement and spirit. The spirit of the drummers produces the powerful sound of the drums, and creates a dynamic and visually exciting art form. We seek to provide the Sacramento metropolitan community with opportunities for greater cultural awareness and understanding of this traditional Japanese art form through performances and classes.
