Sadie's Legacy was formed by a mother and daughter who happened to rescue a retired racehorse from abuse. She was living on a solid dirt paddock and given a small salsa dish of food per day. She had lost a foal because of her poor diet. We will always remember the look of hopelessness in her eyes. We decided then and their that she was coming home with us. It took a long time to convince her owners to sell her to us. We ended up paying $700 to save her life. That was over 6 years ago and since then their have been many horses that have been rescued and re-homed. Sadie was the reason and inspiration for the creation of Sadie's Legacy Equine Rescue. We found a passion to save these magnificent creatures and hope you find the passion to.
