About us:

The Stafford Area Soccer Association - SASA - is a non-profit organization that hosts the recreational, classic and travel soccer programs in Stafford County. The county provides the fields and other facilities, but SASA is not a county organization - hundreds of unpaid volunteers, including the SASA Board of Directors, and a paid Technical Director and Operations Manager run the league.

Purpose and Philosophy of SASA:

The purpose and philosophy of SASA is to provide a soccer organization to Stafford county and surrounding area residents promoting participation in the game of soccer and teaching the principles of soccer excellence, sportsmanship, athletic skills, team spirit, character and social interaction. The ideals of enjoyment, fair play, safety, integrity and honesty will be emphasized and will be an integral part of soccer play organized by SASA and by members participating on SASA teams. SASA will provide age - and ability-appropriate competition as recommended by US Soccer. SASA will provide soccer educational opportunities and a structured organization to enable every member of SASA to achieve their personal goals in their selected recreation.
