About

St. Peter’s is a faith community in which all people are welcome. We are longtime residents and brand new, singles and families, firm in our faith and questioning, young and old. Together we worship God, care for one other, and reach out to care for others. We welcome children in all aspects of our parish life; in our worship, in our outreach and in our parish activities. We are a small parish family, yet engage in a wide range of outreach ministries, seeking and serving Christ in all people. The Episcopal church is part of the Anglican Communion, and is comprised of 109 dioceses in 16 nations. Together we make up the Body of Christ, reaching out in Christ’s love and work.

MISSION STATEMENT

We seek to be a God-centered people gathering for Eucharist to draw new life from the living Christ and his Gospel. Through Christ we are empowered to go out into the world to seek and serve him in all people, loving our neighbors as ourselves, and practicing faithful stewardship of God’s creation. To fulfill this mission, we commit ourselves:

-to nurture our own spiritual transformation and growth, replenishing and renewing ourselves;

-to invite others into our fellowship of worship and service;

-to serve those beyond our fellowship with grace, wisdom, and compassion;

-to protect and preserve our natural environment.
