Ministering to the community and world in the name of Jesus Christ!

Saloma Baptist Church is an intergenerational community of faith that is working to minister to our community and world in the name of Jesus Christ. Ministries and services include:  Sunday School-Small Groups at 10:00 a.m.; Sunday Morning Worship at 11:00 a.m.; Sunday Evening Discipleship Training for all ages at 6:00 p.m.; and Wednesday evening Prayer Time and Bible Study at 7:00 p.m. Other periodic ministries, services, and outreach opportunities are scheduled throughout the year. SBC is strongly committed to practicing the Great Commandment, carrying out the Great Commission, and teaching and preaching the John 3:16 "Whosoever Will Gospel."

SBC is a mission-minded and ministry-driven congregation that provides more than 40% of all tithes and offerings in support of local, state, national, and international missions. SBC is a member of the Taylor County Baptist Association, Kentucky Baptist Convention, and Southern Baptist Convention. We also are members of the Zion District Association of Baptists, General Assocaition of Baptists in Kentucky, and the Baptist World Alliance and work to build bridges with all believers in Jesus Christ. 

Dr. John Chowning has served as the senior pastor since 1994, and Rev. Jason England is the associate pastor and student minister. Ms. Devin Reynolds is the worship leader. 

The general public is invited to attend and participate in the life, worship, mission, and ministry of Saloma Baptist Church.
