Mission:

The Schaefferstown Volunteer Fire Company was formed in 1909 and is comprised of volunteers from the Village of Schaefferstown, Heidelberg Township and neighboring communities.

The sole purpose of the Schaefferstown Carnival is to raise money to support the firemen and women of the Schaefferstown Fire Company to provide education, training and the means to maintain station vehicles, apparatus and its property. The Schaefferstown Fire Company provides community awareness  programs and is committed to protecting the people, the property and the environment of our community.

The Carnival Committee and our Volunteers strive to provide quality entertainment and concessions in a hometown, family friendly environment. Our mission is to help maintain and preserve our local volunteer Fire Company and continue the 91-year tradition of the Schaefferstown Fire Company Carnival.
