Mission Statement
Segerstrom Center for the Arts exists to present a wide variety of the most significant national and international productions of music, dance and theater to the people of Southern California. We believe that experiencing the best in the performing arts adds meaningfully to the quality of life in our community and are committed to providing an unsurpassed attendance experience. In conjunction with its artistic mission, Segerstrom Center is also entrusted with stewardship of its world class facilities which provide the performance base for its resident companies.
By 2025, the world's finest artists and companies will seek to perform first on our stages because we have cultivated the nation's most enthusiastic, loyal and knowledgeable audiences for important music, dance and theater. The caliber of our presentations will be second to none, complemented by innovative programs of community education and engagement. By bringing together existing and new audiences to experience programs that excite the creative tension between tradition and innovation, the Center will be recognized by everyone as the dynamic cultural and civic center of our community. Infused with an engaging energy and welcoming to all, the Center will stand as a national model for an artistically ambitious, financially sustainable performing arts center.
