Founded in 1993, Seminole Community Church was originally started as a church for those who weren’t even looking for a church but would entertain the idea of going to a place where they could just be themselves. Because of this, we’ve always had a “come as you are” attitude which has translated into a more casual atmosphere where attenders can immediately feel at home, comfortable and accepted.

Today, Seminole Church still has that same feel. Since we believe whole-heartedly that God is Love, we take seriously the idea that people will recognize us as Christ-followers by the way that we treat each other. We value worshiping together in a spirit love and unity, striving to be a reflection of His love and an extension of His inclusiveness.

And because we believe that, above all, God wants to reach out and connect with people in very real ways, we make it our focus to foster a supportive community that points people to Him, a God who not only loves them but has meaningful purpose for their lives. Our hope at SCC is that individuals will find it to be a safe place where they can not only find practical encouragement for every day living and great friends for life, but a place where they can ultimately find true meaning and hope for eternity.
