Mission Statement

We at Simpson United Methodist Church pray for God’s plan to be fulfilled in the Northern Ohio Valley and the world. This can only happen by knowing God’s son, Jesus, and believing he died and arose for us. We seek to know Christ better, so the Holy Spirit can change our lives; helping us to love those around us and to live as Jesus did. Because we love Jesus, we will obey his command to spread the news of His love to everyone.

Statement of Purpose

Teach others about Jesus through God’s truth found in the Holy Bible.
Strengthen the believers by personal and community prayer and worship.

Goals

To teach God’s truth through worship, study, and helping others.
To help all believers become ministers by strengthening their relationships with God and each other.
To pray that God would place in our hearts a burning desire to reach out to unbelievers to LOVE, SERVE, and SAVE.
To be as servants; serving others with love and mercy because it will bring glory to God the Father and Jesus his son.
