Our History and Future

Originally organized in the early 1940’s as a Board of Trade, the Chamber incorporated in 1949 as the Bethel Park Chamber of Commerce and was later renamed the South Hills Chamber of Commerce. The South Hills Chamber of Commerce, your “Regional Resource for Business Success”, is committed to supporting the business community in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. The Chamber is also dedicated to growing and expanding our services.

We are excited about 2016. There are many new networking opportunities for you as an active member. We understand that you are busy working in, growing and planning your business; however, we also recognize the value of expanding your business resources and contacts.  We encourage your participation.

As part of the South Hills Chamber of Commerce SHOP LOCAL campaign, we have created the Triple C Partnership program. Participants in the Triple C Partnership program agree to provide services and/or products at a discounted rate to our membership. The South Hills Chamber of Commerce will promote Triple C Partners by placing our Triple C logo next to your listing on our website directory; list your business in our quarterly newsletters and promote you as part of our SHOP LOCAL campaign. This is a terrific way to strategically position your business.

We are pleased to extend a welcome to Home-Based and New Start-up Businesses. We encourage you to take advantage of the services and space available at our facilities. We know how hard it is to do it alone. We are here to assist you with growing your business through promotional and networking opportunities. We will help you market your product and services, along with special programming and training.
