The Mission of the South Holland Police Department is to create and maintain a climate of safety and security within our community, while delivering quality police and customer services, treating all with respect and dignity, representing ourselves and the village in a positive manner and fostering an environment that actively solicits community participation.

The South Holland Police Department serves a community of over 22,000 citizens covering 7.3 sq. miles. The police department has an authorized strength of 45 sworn officers including the Chief of Police, two Deputy Chiefs of Police, and one Administrative Assistant to the Chief.
