Mission:

Southwest Allen County Schools believes that the responsibility for learning can only be achieved through the joint efforts of our stakeholders - students, parents, faculty, staff, and patrons.

The following are student expectations contained in the district’s mission statement:

 - Students will be able to use mathematics to solve problems and analyze information to the greatest extent of their abilities.

 - Students will learn appropriate concepts, facts, and procedures in content areas that the community and state deem important and necessary.

 - Students will be able to think critically while solving problems and reaching informed opinions.

 - Students will develop a foundation and respect for education in establishing a mindset that learning is a continuous process throughout our lives.

 - Students will develop the skills which will allow them to construct informed arguments and rationale in a variety of contexts.

 - Students will learn to respect the beliefs and traditions of others and to be honest with themselves and others.

 - Students will learn to understand and appreciate the rights and responsibilities accorded to and required of citizens of the State of Indiana and the United States of America.
