St. John's Episcopal Church

768 Fairfield Avenue
203-335-2528

St. John's is the oldest and largest Episcopal Church in Bridgeport, having been founded in 1748. Our current church structure which was built in 1882 and designed by the same architects as St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York is a beautiful and historic neo-Gothic grey stone church. We also boast an impressive sculptured reredos by the same artist who carved Mount Rushmore. We are conveniently located at the corner of Park and Fairfield Avenues on the West Side of Bridgeport, just one block from the Route 8/25 Connector and two blocks from Interstate 95.  We are also accessible by GBTA routes # 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, & 7. We have on site parking available and we are handicap accessible. We are a multi-cultural and active congregation. There is much going on here! Come and See! All are welcome!
