About Us:

The Steel Rivers Council of Governments (SRCOG) was created through the merger of two Council of Governments, Steel Valley and Twin River, in 2015. SRCOG, is a non-profit organization of municipalities in the Mon Valley region of Allegheny County. As a Council of Governments, the SRCOG is in an unique position to actively improve and support its member municipalities by developing dynamic strategies which tackle regional problems.

Our Mission:

As an organization to “jointly study and develop programs and policies so as to attain its goal, which is to combine its total resources for the regional challenges beyond individual capabilities, while retaining and strengthening local home rule.”
