Students need host homes for 1 month this summer. Ever thought about hosting a foreign exchange student? STEP is a short term (4 week) Summer program from the Basque region of Spain.  Students will arrive on June 29, 2010 and depart on July 27th.  They are insured with their own spending money and there is 24/7 support in the event of an emergency.  Students have 2 mandatory field trips per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) that depart from the parking lot across from the Huntington Post office in the AM and return in the evening.  Otherwise the students come to be "inmersed" in your family, American culture and the English language.  Hosts need to provide a bed, meals and transportation to the meeting place for trips, English must be spoken in the home.  The students have to achieve a high level of English proficiency to participate in this program. You don't need a big fancy house, or to be a stay at home parent to host. The students are 14-17 and all have working parents. We have a diverse group of hosts, and welcome all kinds of families.  There are many students to chose from, with all sorts of interests and personalities.  Please host.
