Music festival Suwannee Springfest will mark its 17th anniversary in 2013. The festival has been continuously produced at North Florida's Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park near theFile 424 farming town of Live Oak.  Well-known and highly-regarded among discerning fans & media, the event consistently features some of the world's finest performers in New & Traditional Folk, Roots Rock, Bluegrass & Newgrass, Singer/Songwriter, Acoustic Blues, Cajun/Zydeco, and other forms of American Roots music.  Those musical sub-genres are now collectively referred to as Americana music, a style growing rapidly in acceptance & popularity which generally incorporates respect for & recognition of traditional music forms presented through a completely contemporary framework & approach.
