One of 37 Community Councils in the Municipality of Anchorage, Alaska formed in accordance with the Charter creating the Municipality.  Taku Campbell Community Council serves as  a community voice in Municipal affairs, acting in an advisory capacity to the elected Municipal Assembly.  While the Councils serve only advisory roles, they do carry considerable weight with the Assembly in determining the course of Municipal issues such as Liquor license renewals or transfers, zoning issues and community desires for transportation changes.  The Council meets the second Thursday of most months except June, July and August but can call special meetings on those months if needed.  Contact the President for the Monthly agenda, meeting time and location.
