About us:

Tennessee Craft champions the local fine craft movement by supporting growth and creative expression for all artists, building a platform for high-quality craftsmanship and reinforcing the importance of fine craft for the entire community. As a nonprofit, we rely on the help of our talented members, supportive donors, committed sponsors and selfless volunteers to serve creators and the community.

We take pride in Tennessee’s craft heritage. Since 1965 we have preserved and advanced the rich history and tradition of Tennessee craft.  Grounded in our state’s handmade heritage, we offer multiple stages for today’s makers to showcase their work to those engaged in the fine arts community. One-of-a-kind work shines at our spring and fall Craft Fairs, Biennial Exhibitions showcasing the best of Tennessee Craft, community demonstrations, professional development workshops, the Master Artist Apprentice Program and more.

Tennessee Craft is the premiere statewide resource for artists, businesses and the public to connect, form lasting relationships and identify opportunities to deliver Tennessee’s fine craft pieces from a maker’s hands to a patron’s home. We encourage strong relationships between our members, offering opportunities for connection, mentorship and reunion throughout the year.

Tennessee Craft welcomes a range of talent to join our community—from hobbyists to master makers. We welcome individuals to develop their craft. There are many benefits associated with a Tennessee Craft membership and we welcome new members throughout the year. Patrons and collectors support our work as donors and volunteers. Whether a maker or supporter, we look forward to your participation in our community.
