The Apostolic Baptist Church
Mission:
we here believe in Missionary Work; both at home and abroad! I can NOT, for the life of me, imagine a Church not being willing to support Missions. All the children of God are commanded by the Lord to spread the Gospel. I feel that any Church that does not spread the Gospel, nor support those that do, are shirking their responsibilities!
About Us:
The term Apostolic means to us; 'as in the ways of the Apostles'.
The Oxford English Dictionary defines the word 'apostolic' as; (1) of or relating to the Apostles'.
There are those who associate this word, 'Apostolic', with certain 'charismatic' movements - we have never been, nor will we ever be, affiliated with any such 'charismatic' group.
The Baptist Church was the first Church. Our forefathers were known as 'Paulicians', 'Vodies', 'Waldenses', 'Anabaptist', and finally shortened to just 'Baptist'. The teachings of our Biblical forefathers will be found here!
