About the Congregation

The Church at Horseshoe Bay is an 800-member congregation organized in 1982. For the first eleven years the congregation met in the Chapel at Horseshoe Bay as long-term guests of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. The present facilities were dedicated in 1993 and include the Sanctuary, the Forshee Fellowship Hall, group meeting spaces, a parlor, and a library.

Governed by a 15-member Board of Trustees, the congregation endeavors to meet the needs of its members and the larger community. A Benevolence Committee oversees the distribution of at least 25 percent of the annual congregational offerings to various helping agencies in the nearby community. In addition to meeting the congregation's worship needs, the building serves as a meeting place for various community organizations.
