Our Mission Statement

The Mission of the Ottawa Lighthouse finds it's nucleus in the Great Commission that Jesus gave the Apostles. It is our belief that we are to make a positive spiritual impact on every part of the present day world that we have the ability to reach. We have determined in ourselves to accomplish our part of the Great Commission by following those principles that Jesus gave as a blueprint for success in this endeavor.

We will Preach the Gospel in order to reach the lost with the Good News...the message of the Cross of Calvary. It is a message of Grace that no man or woman can earn, a message that is freely given to humanity via a price that Jesus Himself has paid in Blood. It is a message of redemption that has rang out through the ages... "For God so loved the world that He gave..." .It is a message of relief to those who are burdened... " Come unto me all ye that are heavy laden and I will give you rest..." . It is a message of healing... "By His stripes ye are healed...". And, it is a message of deliverance..." He hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives...".

In order for us to reach our goals of fulfilling our part of the Great Commission, there are four critical areas that we must address, with each preparing the way for the other. As we begin to develop in these areas as individuals, we will begin to broaden our abilities as a Church Body.

These four areas are:
