The Waltham Clothing Exchange Thrift Consignment shop is open seasonally, with Spring and Fall seasons. The Spring Season is starting Feb 14, 10-4:30.

We will be open Tuesdays only from 10 to 4:30. Consignors are welcomed between 10 and 1:15.

 

This Spring season, there will be one Saturday opening: April 8, 9 to 1. Regular sale days end on May 2.  A Half-price sale will be Tuesday May 9 from 10 to 4:30.  A Clearance sale, all must go, is Tuesdahy May 16 from 10 to 1.

In addition to donations, in season, consignors bring in 6 items per week for 8 weeks. With over 50 consignors, thats over 300 new items per week, not counting new donations.

A friendly, volunteer run consignment shop. Our consignors and donors bring in a wide range of vintage and used clothing, toys and games, books and magazines of all types, housewares, linens, purses, shoes, cutlery, plates, collectibles, paintings, small appliances, and whatever they think a neighbor might be interested in buying. Seasonal items also come in: Columbus Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, Spring. Four rooms and a hallway holding over 20 racks of clothing, shoe racks, purse and bag hooks, prints and paintings on walls and shelves, over 200 feet of shelves holding a lot of interesting stuff.

A project of First Parish inWalltham UU for 65 years, this consignment thrift shop supports social justice and preservation of the environment by providing a means to pass on good used items from those who no longer need them to those that can use and appreciate them. With over 50 consignors and donations, at mid-season shoppers will find 20 racks of used and new clothing (for all ages and sizes), blankets and linens, purses and bags in all sizes, shoes, frames, pictures and art, toys and games, electronics, cables, housewares, appliances, jewelry, lamps and lamp shades, books, cds, dvds, vinyl records, cutlery, plates, cookware, glasses, cups, collectibles of all types, and more. It's like a huge neighborhood garage or yard sale!

There are used recycling bargains for everyone, and you may find new items as well. The shop, located at First Parish Church, 50 Church St., is handicapped accessible. MBTA Bus 70A stop, Lexington St/School St.

The entrance is on the Elks Club side of church, at the rear of our second parking lot off School St.

Any items not able to be sold are given to local charities.
