Mission :
The mission of Thoreau High School is foster lifelong learners, productive citizens, and sensitive individuals.
Thoreau is a culturally diverse High School. We strive to provide quality education to all of our currently enrolled students. Our school offers AP classes for students that would like to strive for a 5.0 GPA as well as the normal 4.0 GPA classes. All of which are taught by 1 of 35 highly skilled teachers. We offer many different clubs all of which are listed to your right. As well as a collection of sports for any of our students to try out for. AVS which is a vocational option is also available free of charge here at Thoreau High School.
