Justice Thurgood Marshall was widely known and recognized for his historic contributions to American life, and his dedication to breaking down barriers to education.

TMC is an integral part of the cluster college system on the UCSD Campus which affords students the opportunity and advantages of attending a small liberal arts college within the setting of a renowned research university. Within its short history, UCSD has risen to national prominence. The distinguished faculty and excellent student body have contributed to that success.
