On Trinity Sunday, June 15, 2003, Trinity Church celebrated its 90th Anniversary. After the 10 a.m. service, we dedicated the Memorial Garden Plaque followed by a picnic in the courtyard. During the picnic there were special presentations, music and displays. Trinity treasures from years past were available for purchase and participation in Trinity’s 90th Anniversary Scrapbook and Family Tree were also available. We celebrated the past 90 years and looking forward to 100 years of Trinity Church, Gulph Mills.

In the Spring of 1913, a group of folks in the Rebel Hill, Gulph Mills and Balligomingo Road area expressed an interest in building a new Episcopal Church in Gulph Mills, a small village about fifteen miles from Philadelphia and about seven miles from Valley Forge. Even though there were four or 5 other Episcopal Churches within 5 to 6 miles, the lack of transportation made it difficult for people in the Gulph Mills area to get around.

On Trinity Sunday, 2003, Trinity Church Gulph Mills will celebrate its 90th birthday. Compared to many Episcopal parishes in the Diocese of Pennsylvania, this makes Trinity a relative youngster.
