The Troy Police Dept. has been awarded certified level 1 accreditation by the New Hampshire Police Standards and Training Council. The accreditation process involves meeting 436 nationally accepted standards. The accreditation process has benefited law enforcement agencies by reducing insurance costs, deterring law suits, creating stronger accountability within the agency, increasing community advocacy, increasing confidence by government officials, and improving employee morale.
