The Troy Township Volunteer Fire Department is located in Geauga county. The Fire Department was first organized January 1,1981, to provide Fire protection and EMS service. Membership of the Troy Township Volunteer Fire Department is strictly volunteer. Fire Department membership shall be divided into, structural firefighters and non interior structural firefighters. All active personnel are responsible for adhering to standard operating guidelines and are expected to respect and follow the chain of command.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Troy Township Volunteer Fire Department is organized to save lives, suppress and control fires, EMS, hazardous materials, and recognition and response. Fire prevention, and other activities as deemed in the best interest of our Fire Department or the citizens of our community.
