The Union County Recreation Department provides residents and visitors with clean, green, safe, and accessible open spaces in hundreds of acres of park land throughout the County.  Its aegis includes Meeks Park, Butternut Creek Golf Course, Union County Arena (Union County Saddle Club) and Poteete Recreation Area & Campground on Lake Nottely.
