Unity Volunteer Fire Department, Plum Borough Station #1 is located approximately 13 miles east of Pittsburgh PA, in Allegheny County. UVFD proudly protects approximately 30,000 people in an almost 29 square mile area. We are one of four stations in which all are volunteer.

Our services include all phases of fire suppression including Engine Company, Truck Company, Rescue Company as well as Quick Response Medical Service operations in which we assist Plum Emergency Medical Services

Our district covers a large array of residential homes, businesses and farm country. Some points of interest include the Oakmont Country Club, Plum Senior High School, many elementary schools as well as several churches of all denominations. We provide coverage for the Pennsylvania Turnpike from mileposts 49 to 55 from Harmarville to Monroeville.
