The University of Idaho has a long tradition of providing educational services to the residents of Northern Idaho - one which began in the early 1900s through agricultural extension. Today, the University of Idaho, Coeur d'Alene offers certificate, undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Convenient class schedules and online course offerings allow you to obtain a quality education without giving up your quality of life.The University of Idaho has a 118-year legacy of discovery, educating, serving and leading. The university began an academic partnership with North Idaho College and a physical presence on campus in the NIC Administrative Building in 1985. In 1989, to accommodate growth, the university provided funds to expand Molstead Library and added six classrooms and administrative space for University of Idaho programs. Expansion continued, and in 2001, the university and city entered into an agreement that provided space for the University of Idaho in the Harbor Center. The university officially moved into the Harbor Center in July 2002. As partnerships with other institutions have increased, the Harbor Center now provides space not only to the University of Idaho but also to Lewis-Clark State College, Idaho State University and Boise State University.
