The Upper Chesapeake Community Band was formed in Rising Sun in 1994 to provide a place for all aged musicians to have a band with which to rehearse and perform. Also, we exist to provide music for various venues and events in the area. We rehearse on Thursday evenings from 7:00 - 8:30 PM at West Nottingham Presbyterian Church Day Care Center basement. We invite anyone who once played an instrument to get it out, dust it off and come join us. There are no auditions. Come develop your talent with us.
