UWW Sustainability Office

500 N. Freemont St.

UW-Whitewater recognizes the importance of environmental sustainability in our changing world and is working in several ways to adopt these principles and provide leadership to our students and community. Our office provides many hands on volunteer opportunities for students, as well as members of the community. There is no experience necessary for our volunteer opportunties, all you need is yourself, a bottle of water, and a will to get your hands a little dirty. Our three main volunteer opportunties we have are Prairie Seed Collection at the UWW Nature Preserve (September-November), the Upham Greenhouse (February-May), Stream Monitoring and Clean Ups (April-September), and the Campus Garden (May-November). For more information on these opportunities, please visit our website at www.uww.edu/sustainability
