About Us:

Valley View Independent School district is a strong, vibrant school located in north central Texas approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. The district includes 89 square miles which straddles Interstate 35 and includes the Town of Valley View, population 875, in southern Cooke County. This ideal location provides residents with the joy of country living along with easy access to major city benefits; such as healthcare, shopping, and recreational activities. Valley View has all the advantages of being a small community and is minutes from the shopping areas of Gainesville and Denton.

At every level, students are successful in UIL academics, Co-curricular, and athletic competitions as well as TAKS results. The school offers a small school environment where students and teachers are partners in the learning process. With a pupil/teacher ratio of 15 to 1, students are given the individual attention needed for them to excel. Standards are high and the school has a reputation for expecting much from students who expect much.
