About the Chamber

The Vandalia Butler Chamber of Commerce is an organization of business and professional persons who have joined together to work for the development of a better business community in which we work, live, learn and play. Since 1947, the Chamber of Commerce has proudly served the businesses and communities of Vandalia and Butler Township.

Through our affiliations with the Southern Ohio Chamber Alliance (SOCA), members are able to enjoy quality health care plans through Anthem Insurance and United Healthcare. Additional benefits include Bureau of Worker Compensation group rating, a FREE prescription drug discount card, dental insurance, credit card processing, energy savings for electricity and natural gas, document shredding, office supplies, employment screening and a foreign currency exchange program. Members are also able to take advantage of a Notary Public service and for businesses sending goods overseas, we are a certified Certificate of Origin chamber. We offer both of these services FREE with your membership. 

The Vandalia Butler Chamber of Commerce is proud to offer monthly networking opportunities from business after hours and our WINgs (Women In Networking growing stronger) luncheons to our newest networking group First Friday Coffees. Along with the monthly programs we build in networking though events like our annual membership meeting, golf outing and our business connection held prior to the business community expo. The Chamber hosts five feature events each year. In June we feature our Taste at the Crossroads and the Air Show Parade. August brings us a Golf Outing followed by our Business Community Expo in October. We wrap up the year with our Holiday Social the “Jingle Mingle”.

The Vandalia-Butler Chamber of Commerce is actively involved with supporting our businesses through political advocacy. We regularly schedule roundtable and group presentations that feature elected officials from our region, the state of Ohio and across the United States.
