About Us:

The Ventura Chamber of Commerce continues to be the largest and most comprehensive business organization in the City of Ventura - speaking on behalf of its member firms employing over 24,000 people. Members include companies of all sizes and industries, from start-up to established, entrepreneurial to corporate.

The Chamber is "Taking Care of Business" - building a strong local economy, advocating on behalf of the business community at the local, state and federal levels, fostering community development, workforce development and other member benefit programs. The Chamber embraces a coalition approach to working with government and other community entities for the betterment of the whole community.

Through collaborative partnerships with a diverse group of decision makers including local, state and federal officials, educators, environmentalists, recreation enthusiasts and cultural organizations, the Chamber facilitates thoughtful deliberations leading to educated responses to critical, community issues.

The Chamber is a nonprofit organization financed through its members' dues investment and revenue development programs. The Chamber is not a government agency and does not receive

public funding for any of its operations.

The members of the Chamber staff work with an active corps of volunteers who willingly share time, talent, energy, ideas and expertise ensuring the decisions made are balanced and in the best interests of the community.
