The Wakefield Center Neighborhood Association (WCNA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the beautification and improvement of Wakefield, Massachusetts center and adjoining open-space areas.

Membership in the WCNA is open to all Wakefield residents and area citizens. We have members who have moved out of town -- yet they continue to participate in our many civic and cultural projects and activities. There are no dues, strange initiation ceremonies, secret handshakes, or funny hats to wear. There are lots of great people who want to maintain and improve the vitality of Wakefield's center and to contribute to the quality of life for Wakefield's citizens.

To accomplish our goals, the WCNA works cooperatively with Wakefield's municipal and educational offices, other non-profit groups, and local businesses. WCNA members are active in many of these groups as well.

Constant communication, coordinated efforts, and mutual support provide efficient and effective results.
