Warren Village School

Warren Village School is a small rural school educating children in kindergarten through grade 6 from Warren and Glencliff.

Warren is a mountainous town located in a western valley of the White Mountain Region of New Hampshire. Mount Mooselauke, the southern most member of the White Mountain Range measuring over 4,000 feet looms in the background of the Warren Village School Playground. Combine this with the Red Stone Missile which stands near the town common next door to the school, and numerous historic buildings and sites, and you are very right to think that, Warren is a lovely place to visit, as well as to live in.

The communities of Warren and Glencliff have authentic New England charm, and take great pride in the natural beauty of the White Mountain National Forest which encompasses the major area of Warren, the Appalachian Trail which winds through the area, and a State Nature Center where trout are farmed and then used for stocking.

The Warren Village School currently has a student enrollment of 76.

Students in kindergarten through grade 3 receive researched based reading instruction through our participation in the Reading First initiative. This instruction is systematic, explicit, scaffolding, and maximizes student engagement.

The staff works together to instruct and to take the lead as educators. Through professional development trainings, planning meetings, and collaborative discussions the staff regularly monitors student progress, reviews data, looks at student work, as well as continues to receive training(s) on current research based instructional methods. Each staff member is important to the team for their support and ultimately to every child in the school. We offer special education services and Title I assistance to students, as needed.

All students are expected to come to school ready to learn, because we are here ready to teach and motivate through engaging and meaningful learning experiences
