About Us:

The Greater Weiser Area Chamber of Commerce (GWACC) was established in 1948, making it one of the 10 oldest established corporations that are still in existence in Washington County. If you exclude churches and the cities of Cambridge and Weiser, the GWACC is the 5th oldest corporation in Washington County

The GWACC belongs to both ICC and the WCF. We are also a member of The Idaho Association of Commerce and Industry (IACI), Idaho's most effective business lobby.

Chambers of commerce are recognized and accepted globally as the proponents of civic, social, and economic development and welfare. It is not uncommon to find Chambers of Commerce worldwide serving as the centers for Economic Development for the areas that the individual chambers serve.

The GWACC has a proven record of establishing events that benefit and promote Washington County.   The most recognized event in Weiser is the National Old time Fiddler's Contest which in cooperation with the Greater Weiser Chamber of Commerce has grown to a national event recognized all over the United States.

The GWACC also has an established network of businesses, community service organizations, civic and community leaders, and volunteers.
