We are mainly a bedroom community of a little over 7,300 people. The Township consists of about 13.248 square miles. We are located between the east and west branches of the Brandywine River. West Brandywine is a part of the Coatesville Area School District. Two elementary schools and one middle school for the district are located within WestBrandywine Township.
