West Prairie High School strives to provide a quality education to all students. We believe that students should graduate prepared to seekjobs, enter careers, pursue additional education and to assume the adult responsibilities of American citizenship. We further believe that for students to reach their maximum potential, a partnership between the school and the community is necessary and needed. The relationship between students, teachers,  administrators and community members should be open, positive, cooperative, mutually respectful and supportive.

West Prairie High School will strive to foster an environment where students will be recognized as individuals, feel accepted; develop a sense of accomplishment as well as personal, social and career goals. We want our students to be physically comfortable and secure. We expect our students to be  regular in their attendance, give effort in their classes and help our  professional staff in maintaining a good learning environment.

We believe that West Prairie High  School should prepare students to be responsive to the changing  world and to recognize the cultural, ethnic, economic and religious diversity that exists in today's world.
