Weston Community Children's Association

The WCCA, or Weston Community Children's Association, provides friendship, support, educational and social activities to families of infant to early elementary age children living in Weston and surrounding communities. All members receive a bi-monthly newsletter from September through June containing various relevant articles and the "Blue Sheets" which contain information on all the activities occurring in that two month time period for the different Age Groups.

Founded in 1981 in response to a study conducted by the Weston League of Women Voters, the WCCA is a unique organization that focuses on the needs of parents and children. Currently, the WCCA provides a wide variety of activities and events for over 400 member families. Everyone is welcome to join throughout the year.

The WCCA is a volunteer organization that flourishes because of the enthusiasm and energy of its members. Members volunteer their ideas and time to develop both educational and social activities for children and adults. Some activities continue from year to year and others vary based on the needs and desires of the membership.

All WCCA programs are organized and run by volunteer committees. Each committee has at least one chairperson who also serves on the WCCA Board of Directors. The Board meets monthly to discuss activities and needs of the organization. Board meetings are open to the membership. All members are welcome to serve on the Board of Directors.
